New Entry Garden

Thanks to a combined effort by county personnel, Friends of Quail Hollow, and citizen volunteers, we have a new garden in front of the visitor center. Fed by a drip system, the garden is deer resistant, requires little water, and is attractive to hummingbirds and beneficial insects.

New plants with mature shrubs in the background

Some of the (some day) large shrubs include three varieties of Spider Flowers, two Sages, a Fuchsia and others. Low mounding shrubs include three Fuchsias, a Lavender and A Wooly Grevillea. Existing plants include Buxus, Berberis, Camelia, Irus, Lavender, Ferns, Salvia and others.
