What’s in bloom? Everything!

We’re seeing photographers near fields of Lupine which are blooming just inside the entrance gate. (The big bloom on the Discovery trail is happening now (5/8)). On the Woodrat trail, I saw at least 12 species, including California Lilac, Monkeyflower, Tree Poppy, Lupine, Yerba Santa, Bindweed and many more. Just past the visitor center, I spotted several families taking photos in front of the Wisteria which has overcome the old blacksmith shop. And the Apple tree blossoms are probably good for another week. Elsewhere, you’ll find very tiny yellow and purple wildflowers (some hard to see) in the meadows and pasture areas.

If you visit the park, and spot other blooms, go to the Contacts page and tell us so we can update the news!
